To be honest I figured chick could escape in just a few minutes. So that’s what I told Madeline: this doll was stuck until woman escaped. Her legs were spread and locked to any end of the log and her arms belted in front. I let her struggle. I’m fairly certain maiden thought it would be an easy escape likewise, and doll was far from pleased with the turn of events. I imagine adding a hair bind and stealing away her last bit of movement wasn’t outstanding, but nobody said it would be easy.
