Store employees recognized the boy from a previous visit, leading the Loss Prevention Officer to bring him in for additional questioning. Seeing this the boy had a previously recorded incident, the officer called in the suspect’s parent/legal guardian. While a second offense procedurally requires escalation to local authorities, an understanding was reached by the suspect, his step man, and the Loss Prevention Officer, and they were released without involvement of law . $59.99 retail value recovered for the store without incident.
